WPS Annual Print Competition
Print selection on Monday 23rd June, The Arts Centre, 61-69 Abel Smith St, 7.30pm
The WPS Annual Print competition allows members to showcase their prints and have them judged by an experienced photographer. Each member is allowed to submit 3 prints.
The judge this year will be Ron Redfern, an illustrative and commercial photographer, now living in the Wairarapa, who has conducted many photographic workshops, and held several exhibitions of his own.
Subjects for this year are Open and Glint in the Eye. NB The set subject is one of the subjects for the Interclub Print Battle. Closing date for entries is Tuesday 10 June.
Competition rules
- Images must not have been submitted in any previous WPS print or projected image competition
- Maximum of 3 prints per member
- Each print can be entered in one subject only
- Prints to be mounted but unframed
- Maximum size of mat and/or mount: 16”x20” (406 mm x 508 mm)
- Minimum size of print: 10” (254 mm) along the longest edge
- Closing date for entries: Tuesday, 10 June.
Entries can be brought along to the 10 June meeting or may be left at Wellington Photographic Supplies, 11-15 Vivian Street up to 5.00pm on 10 June.
A print competition entry form must be completed for each print and attached to the back of the mount at the centre top (these forms will be published in Impact). Write “Glint in the Eye” on the top of the entry form for a print entered in that subject.
