Laurie Thomas NZ Landscape Salon

In response to the many comments received last year about the lack of provision for digitally projected images, this year the 11th Laurie Thomas NZ Landscape Salon is introducing a new, digital, section alongside a section for traditionally produced slides.

This will give those of you who have entered slides in earlier years but who now no longer use film the opportunity to again enter images in this premier NZ Landscape Salon.

Each section will be assessed separately, with a Champion Trophy (which the winner keeps) awarded to the top image in each section, along with Silver and Bronze Medals, and Honours and Acceptance Certificates. Entrants may submit images in one section only, or in both.

This year's Salon is being judged in Christchurch by Dr Philip Schroeder APSNZ (Chair), Dawn Radcliffe-Taylor APSNZ, and Bruce Sinclair APSNZ. All three are experienced judges and all three have worked in both slide and digital photography.

Up to four images may be submitted in each section. For slides, both card and glass mounts are acceptable. Specifications for digitally projected entries are given in the entry form.

Every entrant will receive a full-colour catalogue.

The closing date is 6th June 2007.
